Two summers ago, we traveled around Israel with our 10 children. Every week we stayed in a different part of the country. We wanted to stay in the Dead Sea area and learned of a vacation rental available in Mitzpeh Yericho. With its awesome views of the Judean desert and Dead Sea, its seeming isolation, yet 10 minute proximity to Ma’aleh Adumim, 20-minutes to Jerusalem, and the availability of reasonably priced land, we felt Mitzpeh Yericho calling to us to be our home in Israel. We have found the community and Rav to be especially warm and welcoming, the schools excellent and community programs diverse.
